Kathleen Doe Creative Design recently produced the 2014 Annual Report for the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts, as well as the invitation and program for their Annual Meeting.
Kathleen collaborated with the Community Foundation to create a fresh design for this year’s theme of “strength in numbers.” The goal was to incorporate the idea of community and personal involvement into the cover design, and continue that theme throughout the 40-page report with the use of photography, illustrations, and layout for the many sections of the book. For the Annual Meeting invitation, Kathleen created a custom illustration based on the Community Foundation’s trademark fiddlehead, designing a whimsical heart to showcase the Meeting’s theme of love and celebration of our region.
The Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts administers a charitable endowment consisting of separately identified funds serving the three counties bordering the Connecticut River in Western Massachusetts (Hampden, Hampshire, and Franklin Counties). The Community Foundation makes it possible for good people to accomplish good works in the Pioneer Valley.
